They never truly receive the overwhelming amount of credit they deserve for shaping the minds of children and young adults all over the world, but we would all be lost without the hard work, dedication, tireless effort and passion of educators. Educators deserve to be celebrated and a new conference being held in New York this weekend is aiming to do just that.
The inaugural ElevatED Conference is a boutique event created with educators in mind who help to cultivate greatness in children, but struggle with finding time to prioritize their own wellness. The conference is a one-day event filled with interactive programming specifically designed for teachers.
ElevatED will focus on three principles this Saturday:
- Learn relevant and practical ways to live your best life.
- Lead by sharing information with others.
- Leverage resources and tools for optimal wellness.
Various panels and workshops will center on self-preservation, mental wellness, financial freedom, life-coaching, entrepreneurship, branding and vision-building. Main stage speakers and panelists include Tiffany Aliche (better know as The Budgetnista,) celebrity therapist Dr. Elisa English, and author/life coach Jubilee Mosley.

In an interview, founder of the ElevatED Conference, Nadia Lopez, explained her motivation to put educators at the forefront of this wellness initiative. “I felt that it was necessary to create a conference that focuses on wellness and life sustainability. There is so much demand on our time and energy, in both our personal and work place that we forget to take time for self-care and putting into place the practices needed for our long-term success.”
She continued, “What makes this experience unique is that our speakers and workshop presenters are facilitating an interactive conversation, based on their expertise in the fields of mental health, self-care, finance, life coaching, visioning, branding and networking, as well as entrepreneurship. Designed and curated with the educator in mind, the ElevatED conference is open to anyone who wants to be equipped with the tools they need to manage their lives better and become the best version of themselves.”
The ElevatED Conference takes place on Saturday, May 4th from 10AM-4PM at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York. Early bird tickets are $39.95 and regular admission is $49.95.
